Silly squirrel

#TBT When was the last time you were silly? When did you last move in a way that wasn't necessary, just because you could? As children, we run, skip, jiggle, hop, crouch for no reason other than we feel like it. Mundane tasks can be injected with a whole new energy if we allow our bodies to move in 'silly' (read: unnecessary) ways. I set myself the task two days ago, of wiggling/skipping/sliding/dancing whenever I remembered and my energy levels have skyrocketed. It also made R laugh out loud a couple of times (hence secretly recording me). Even more exciting, was that it infiltrated my singing practise. The playfulness and freedom sparks our creativity out of the 'adult box' that we confine ourselves to too often. Give it a go! Maybe music will help. What's your favourite song/soundtrack that sends you back to childhood or gets your hips moving? #Keepmoving

British mezzo-soprano, Camilla Bull

"...her rich voice is immaculately controlled and she is a totally convincing actor"

"Bull zeigt die ganze Bandbreite ihrer reichen Stimme, vom heiteren Musical-Stil...über eine elegant-beschwipste Operetten-Diva...bis zu geschliffen präzisen Koloraturen in Rossinis „La Cenerentola“. Der jubilierende Schlusstakt reißt das Publikum zum begeisterten Applaus von den Bänken."
